During the Summer of 2002, RCP entered the MoACT Statewide Community Theatre Competition held at City Theatre of Independence. Director Melanie Corporon holds the MoACT Third Place trophy that was awarded to RCP. Nick Corporon filled the role of John Barrymore's ghost for the summer performance. As part
of RCP's Summer performance of "I Hate Hamlet" actors Nick Corporon
and Alan Harshman were honored by MoAct, each receiving a certificate -displayed
in the photo by Nick- for Best Actors in the MoAct competition.

was unable to attend the awards ceremony.
