Lexington, Missouri is approximately 35 miles east of Kansas City, and is the county seat of Lafayette County. Lexington is a historic Missouri River town, the site of one of the largest, most famous Civil War battles west of the Mississippi River. RCP encourages you to make your trip to Lexington a relaxing all-day affair, and enjoy the Pre-Civil War homes, Missouri's "Battle of Lexington" State Historic Site and world class antique shopping at a variety of downtown boutiques.

IMPORTANT NOTE: RCP'S Spring Production for 2012 will be held at the Lexington United Methodist Church Family Life Center, located at 1211 S. 13 Lexington, MO (just south of U.S. Hwy 24 on Missouri Business Highway 13.)


Directions From Downtown Kansas City:

Take I-70 East and exit at Missouri Highway 291 North in Independence, MO. Follow M291-North to U.S. Highway 24 East. Turn right and follow U.S. Highway 24 East for approximately 30 miles to Lexington, MO. When you arrive in Lexington, exit on Missouri Highway 13 North. Highway 13 North will lead you to Downtown Lexington.

If you have time, please visit Historic Downtown Lexington, including the well-known Lafayette County Courthouse complete with the prominent Civil War cannonball lodged the front column. Allow approximately one hour of driving time to reach Lexington from Downtown Kansas City.

Directions from Eastern Missouri:

Take I-70 West to Missouri Highway 13 North -look for the Higginsville, MO exit.- Follow Missouri Highway 13 North for approximately 20 miles into Lexington.
