Lexington Municipal Auditorium, 11th & Franklin St.

The Lexington Municipal Auditorium was originally built in 1939 as a Federal WPA project. The main room includes a beautifully restored hardwood floor, a new drop ceiling and new window curtains. When tables are placed for Dinner Theatre Seating, RCP can comfortably accommodate more than 100 patrons. Ample balcony seating is also available. RCP provides a cash snack bar in the lobby for intermission popcorn, candy and soft drinks.

Lexington Auditorium Restoration Committee has ongoing plans for the improvement of this fine historic building. RCP has done its part too, adding beautiful new stage curtains in 2002. Currently, RCP is working to improve the backstage dressing room areas.
